Ride Hera Women’s Double Boa Snowboard Boots, Uk 4.5 / Eu 37, Oxblood

| January 19, 2020 |
For sale are my very lovely snowboard boots - RIDE HERAs - which I bought new from Finches in South London in 2017. I have ridden in them for less than three weeks, but was lucky enough to be bought new boots as a surprise Christmas present this year, so I no longer need these beauties. They re Oxblood in colour, which is apparently a very very dark purple, but to be honest I ve always thought they were black. They re really smart looking boots - I haven t had a chance to take pics of them yet but will get some up in the next day or two. I ve put a stock pic here for reference. They ve got a lovely cosy liner (Intuition Support Foam Liner, for fact fans!) and they flex pretty well at the top - I ve got quite muscly calves which won t fit it to certain boots SALOMON but these don t cut into my legs at all. They are double boa fastening, which is super convenient - a boa at the front tightens the wire lacing up the front of the boot, while the second boa on the outside of the ankle activates a restraint in the tongue of the boot which pulls your heel back into the heelcup. Heel lift, be gone!! Here s what RIDE say about the boot themselves: The Hera is a great BOA womens snowboard boot from Ride with Tongue Tied BOA system to lock that heel down in place. The full BOA lacing closes the full outershell of the boot evenly with a great customisable fit while the tongue tied system is a simply yet very effective additional BOA system which pulls the tongue in around the heel to lock the heel down inside the boot. To add to this Ride now offer their LSD CAT on the Hera boot. What the hell is that I hear you ask? It is a velcro panel at the cuff of the boot which can be adjusted to prevent calf bite. The result is a very comfortable boot with mid flex designed to take on any aspect of the mountainAs well as being hella goodlooking, these boots perform pretty well too. The boas are both auto-recoil, so there s no spinning the wheels for ever and ever, and the soles are grippy enough to grasp any stomp pad with ease. They re also super comfy for heading to apr├Ęs as well (important). My boots are a tiny bit scuffed from being stomped into bindings, but I ride in Burton Lexas which are fairly soft on the inside so marking is minimal. I ll share detail pics of any marks as soon as I get the chance. Apart from these little marks they re in really great nick - I look after my boots, always drying them out fully and storing them with Dryzone silica-gel inserts inside. They live indoors, in my spare room, so aren t exposed to damp etc in the off-season. I live and work in Central London, so am happy to arrange collection in person, otherwise I can arrange a next day courier to mainland UK. Non-mainland UK may take an extra day, sorry. Any questions don t hesitate to drop me a line. And if you re heading out this weekend, you can always submit an offer via the buttons above and we ll see if we can get them to you before you go.
